Make Shopping Accessible for All

Today is Purple Tuesday, the beginning of a year-round campaign urging retailers to do more to help disabled shoppers.

One way that shops can make a difference, whether they're big or small, is by providing staff training to develop their knowledge of the barriers that people with a disability may encounter whilst shopping. Our team deliver half-day and full-day Visual Impairment Awareness training sessions which explore how factors like good lighting, product placement, and good communication can all make a huge impact on whether a shopper will return for a second visit.

The training also teaches guiding techniques, and tips to help you deliver the best quality shopping experience for customers who are blind or partially sighted. Sound interesting? Call us on 0141 332 4632 to speak to our team about booking Visual Impairment Awareness training for your organisation.

The video below gives you an insight into our training, when we visited intu Braehead last year to help them develop their assisted shopping service. #PurpleTuesday 💜
