Team Visibilty

Visibility was born in 1859 when a group of caring Glaswegians got together, raised funds, and then set up a charity to alleviate the 'social distress’ caused by sight loss.  The world has changed beyond all recognition in 150 years but two things have not changed; the need for our work and our need for donations.

In these difficult financial times, we are not asking people to raise a target sponsorship, all we ask is that you proudly take to the field wearing a Visibility vest and raise whatever you can to support our work.

Whether you want to run, walk, hop or skip, do the half-marathon, the 10k or the junior event…. we want you in team Visibility!

For more information please call 0141 332 4632 or download a registration pack

Can do, will do, lets find out how.

Photograph of echolocation training

Visibility is constantly looking out for new ways of doing things that will enable visually impaired people to live the lives of their choice. We have pioneered techniques such as echolocation and eccentric reading in Scotland, and the inspirational people we work with have gone on to overcome incredible adversity to lead successful, fulfilling lives.

By making a donation, you can help us continue to seek out new techniques, aids and equipment which will enable blind and partially sighted people to break down barriers and take more control of their lives.
