Spy Challenge 2009
Spy Hunt
Visibility is a registered charity providing vital services to thousands of blind and partially sighted adults and children every year throughout the West of Scotland and
Visibility’s 150th birthday challenge was on Thursday 18th June. There were seven teams who all met for a meal before their mission started. It was good to see loyal supporters of Visibility such as Virgin Media, Barclay Wealth and City Building along with new supporters including Frank Munro who entered a team from the North Lanarkshire Low Vision Project and a team of five parents from Craigholme school.
The excitement was in the air from the minute the teams arrived at Sloans in Argyle Arcade for their briefing. Agent 75 had just landed at Glasgow airport from London and, following his exciting briefing, the teams all set off on their missions and the streets of Glasgow were immediately full of busy secret agents. They had three missions and twelve initiatives to complete, all against a ticking clock.
Great fun was had by all, despite some bad weather towards the end of the evening, Each team member received a mission accomplished certificate and the winning team received a beautiful spy glass trophy. The triumphant team was from the North Lanarkshire Low Vision Project who thoroughly enjoyed toasting their success.
The money raised was a fantastic £3075 so Visibility would like to say a big thank you to all who took part - you are helping us change lives.
