Life is full of occasions we celebrate with gifts. Birthdays, marriages and special anniversaries are all marked by giving gifts, and these celebrations can be a great way to encourage friends and family to support Visibility. Here are just some of the ways in which your celebration could help visually impaired people:
Gift envelopes. We can provide you with gift envelopes to make available to your guests at the celebration event, or you could enclose them with your invitations.
Gifts online. Your friends and family may like to give a donation through Justgiving.com. You can set up a celebration page, giving details of your big day, a personal message from you and photographs if you wish. Friends and family can then visit your page, make a donation of their choice and write you a special message. It is really easy to set up your celebration page. Just click on justgiving.com/visibility: click ‘raise money’ then click ‘create your page’ and follow the easy instructions. It couldn’t be simpler!
Donate. You may choose to make a one-off donation yourself to mark your celebration and we would be happy to thank you with a celebration certificate detailing your gift and the occasion. Just click here to download our gift form.
If you are a UK taxpayer your donations could be worth even more, at no additional cost to you. Each £1 you give could grow to £1.28 thanks to the government’s Gift Aid Scheme. All you need to do is sign a Gift Aid Declaration and return it to us, we do the rest.
