There are lots of ways your company can get involved with Visibility and benefit through building staff morale, raising your corporate profile and encouraging teamwork.
Here are just some of our Corporate Supporters:
Albion Overseas Ltd
Albion Overseas, the business consultancy that specialises in trade with Russia, selected Visibility as their charity of choice at the end of 2014. Not only are the company’s own staff supporting our cause, delegates attending their annual UK conference were also encouraged to support us.
Throughout 2014 staff at the Prudential offices in Stirling raised funds for Visibility, after we were selected as their local charity. Staff participated in all kinds of activities including their RideLondon event and walking the West Highland Way.
Visibility was selected as the 2014 National winner of the annual Capgemini Community Impact Award, after being nominated by one of their Glasgow based staff.
Digital retinal scanning company Optos supported Visibility in 2014 by sponsoring our dinner dance. The company founder Douglas Anderson spoke at the event which was a huge success, raising £50,000.
Greggs have been supporting our work for many years through donations of bakery items for various events. Highlights include the magnificent 150th birthday cake they provided in 2009 as part of our year long birthday celebrations, and in 2013 they provided over 200 scones for our heritage boat trip.
Global health company Cigna chose to make a cash donation to Visibility through its ‘Global Giving Program’, following a recommendation by one of its employees who had experienced first hand the work we do at the local level in the west of Scotland. Their Glasgow team continues to support our work including volunteering at our bucket collections and placing collection cans in local businesses.
Black and Lizards
When Optical chain Black & Lizars became one of the official sponsors for the 2012 Great Scottish Run a number of their staff decided to take part in the event and raise funds for us.
Maxim Power Tools
Maxim Power Tools (Scotland) Ltd are one of our oldest corporate friends. They have been supporting our work for a number of years with an annual donation.
Outdoor clothing company North Face selected Visibility as one of its 2011 beneficiaries of their North Face Explore Fund, in recognition of the work we do supporting children with visual impairments to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
